The Toronto City-Wide Neuromuscular fellowship is based out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Our program provides a diverse education in both adult and paediatric neuromuscular disorders, with hands on training in nerve conduction and needle electromyography testing. Our fellows have the opportunity to work with multiple neuromuscular specialists with diverse subspecialty training backgrounds at hospitals across Toronto including:

Toronto General Hospital
The Hospital For Sick Children
Fellows will also gain experience with single fiber EMG, muscle biopsy, and neuromuscular ultrasound with the opportunity to tailor their educational experience to suit their interests. Our fellows are also involved in research and are expected to complete a clinical or Quality Improvement research project during fellowship. They also participate in academic activities which include bi-weekly directed neuromuscular teaching, presenting at City-Wide Journal Club, bi-weekly Waveform Rounds, and participating in resident education.
Fellows alternate between hospitals around Toronto and work four full days per week.
Opportunity to participate in neuromuscular clinics which provide longitudinal patient care, allowing our fellows to perform consultation and follow-up care for patients with complex neuromuscular disease.
Participate in specialty clinics including Canada's largest ALS clinic, and paediatric neuromuscular clinic.
Hands-on EMG/NCS experience and additional exposure to single fiber EMG, muscle biopsy, neuromuscular ultrasound, and autonomic testing.
Fellows provide inpatient neuromuscular consultation without the stress of overnight or weekend call.
